John F. Bergin, Senior Vice President of George J. Smith & Son Commercial & Investment Real Estate, Milford is pleased to announce the sale of Harrison's Hardware located at 36-38 Broad Street, Milford, CT.  The property was owned by the Miller family who has owned the business since they purchased it from the Harrison family in 1978.

The Buyers are an investment/development group from Fairfield County.  They will be redeveloping the site.  The Buyers were represented by Atherton & Associates of Shelton, CT. 

Harrison's & Gould Hardware store was started in the early 1900's and continued in business until 2006.  A fire closed down the business, and the building has remained empty for the past three years.  This three-story structure includes a full basement.  The building is approximately 16,000 sf with about one half acre of land.
