449 BOSTON POST ROAD LEASED TO GOURMET CREATIONS, LLC

Morton Brown, Vice President of George J. Smith & Son  Commercial and Investment Real Estate is pleased to announce that the former Lazy Boy furniture store  located at 449 Boston Post Road, Orange has been leased to Gourmet Creations, LLC.  Brown represented the Tenant, Gourmet Creations, LLC, and Carl Russell, Executive Vice President of George J. Smith & Son represented the Landlord, Niko Realty.  The long-term lease is in excess of two million dollars.

The new store will occupy 13,660 sf of  space and will be transformed into an upscale gourmet market.  They will specialize in fresh meat and fresh produce.  There will also be a bakery on the premises, as well as a gourmet entree “to go” service.  The new tenant expects to have the building renovated and open for business before this holiday season.
